Springtime Riding

Spring is just around the corner. Everyone get ready to dust off your boots and saddles. Our first practise is next week! I think everyone is excited and anxious to get started again! It's going to be fun!

WCW district highlights

Distict was a blast! We had our first show and came out with a lot of wins! Our club members took home 11 golds, 4 silvers, and 7 bronze with 4th , 5th and 6th places combined a total of 17 placings. How much better can you get? Some of the highlights was double (and even triple) placing in water race, potatoe race, keyhole, poles, barrels, hide race, cutting, western pleasures, pairs pleasure, reining, team roping, and breakaway. What about the three-peat in Ladies Pleasure? "In first place wasatch wranglers, in second place wasatch wranglers, in third place wasatch wranglers." Ron jumping on the hide not knowing what in the world he was getting himself into. Now he gets to do it again at Region. Marty and Trevor team roping time of 9.2 +5 for a foot. 14.2 takes gold. Who wears sombrero's in a pleasure class? That would be Heidi and Stewart, and they take gold! How about the dril and parade. What a great bunch of kids pulling it together to perform one of the best drills of the season! So many more to tell, but not enough time. We have the best club in the organization, and that is a fact. I'm proud to ride with the Wasatch Co. Wranglers. I can't wait for the next show in a couple of weeks. If you get a chance come watch because it's 2 days of pure entertainment!
